Bathtub Drain Strain Operation Instructions
Important Instructions –
- DO NOT rotate COUNTER-CLOCKWISE to unlock. Doing so may loosen Adapter Stem.
- UNLOCK BASKET & CAP
Hold the cap, without pressing the buttons, and turn CLOCKWISE until you hear a sharp click. The click indicates the assembly is unlocked and ready to be removed.
- REMOVE BASKET & CAP ASSEMBLY FROM DRAIN
Lift Basket & Cap assembly up to remove from drain.
- DETACH BASKET FROM CAP & CLEAR DEBRIS
Press buttons on the side of the Cap to release the Basket. Clear the basket of debris or simply replace the basket.
- REINSTALL DRAIN STRAIN®
Reattach the Basket to Cap by inserting basket clips into the slots on the underside of the cap and pushing up. Gently drop Cap and Basket assembly onto the Adapter Stem and turn CLOCKWISE until you hear a sharp click. The click indicates the assembly is in a locked position. It will hang loosely from the Cap.
- TO SEAL TUB, PUSH CAP DOWN
Make sure the cap is in the locked position. Simply push down on the top of the cap to seal and fill tub.
- TO DRAIN TUB, PULL CAP UP
Without turning, pull up on cap to drain tub.
